Nevus Golf Classic 2010--- Final Scorecard

The tournament was held on June 7, 2010 at the Balcones CC here in Austin, Texas.  Weather conditions could not have been more perfect for a great day of golf and fun for all.  A total of 96 players joined in the scramble to see a winning score of 13 under par take top honors.  It would have been fantastic for someone to win the hole in one prizes.  Henna Chevrolet provided a beautiful new Chevy Truck for one prize and we had $100,000 cash for the other.  We had some great attempts, but no winners.  Someone will get it next time!  We thank Balcones Country Club for being the host course and doing a great job of providing all the ingredients for a great tournament.

Sponsors and volunteers make a tournament successful.  Please take a look at the sponsors tab and see a list of the great sponsors for this tournament.  When all the dust is settled, the tournament will make a donation of almost $17,000 to Nevus Outreach, Inc.  We thank all of the volunteers that helped to make this a great day.  We want to especially thank Rudy’s Country Store and BBQ for their very generous contributions to the tournament.  They fed us all day long in addition to providing untold support to the tournament.

We started planning this tournament in December 2009 with a goal of having every player walk away feeling like “I can’t believe I got all of this for $100.00”.  It looks like we had a success!  Certainly our biggest goal was to deliver a meaningful check to the charity.  Success again thanks to all of you who participated so kindly with your time and money.  Keep checking the website for updates and pictures at www.nevusgolfclassic.golfreg.com
